New York to host AMA symposium for IMGs
Network with colleagues and hear a panel of experts discuss workforce trends, advocacy initiatives and opportunities available for international medical graduates (IMG) during the AMA IMG Symposium, which will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 6 at the New Yorker Hotel in New York.
All physicians or physicians in training who are interested in IMG issues and available resources are invited to attend. Learn more about the event and register.

Join your colleagues at the AMA International Medical Graduates (IMG) Section's 15th Interim Assembly Meeting, which will take place Nov. 9–12 in Honolulu in conjunction with the Interim Meeting of the AMA House of Delegates. Register today (AMA login required) for the AMA-IMG Section meeting, and view a schedule of events.
While there, be sure to attend the 10th annual AMA Research Symposium, which will take place Nov. 9. Annually attracting some of the brightest young minds in medicine, the Research Symposium is a unique opportunity for members of medicine's next generation to share their original research.
Physicians certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates and who have not yet matched to a residency program, along with residents, fellows and medical students, are among the Research Symposium participants.
