Next AMA-SPG liaison meeting to examine clinical competency assessment

The next AMA Senior Physicians Group (SPG) Liaison Meeting will take place Nov. 10 in Honolulu in conjunction with the Interim Meeting of the AMA House of Delegates. The meeting will include a discussion about assessing clinical competency, featuring Paul H. Wick, MD, of the AMA-SPG Governing Council and moderated by Claire V. Wolfe, MD, chair of the AMA-SPG Governing Council.

AMA Immediate Past President Peter W. Carmel, MD, and Barbara S. Schneidman, MD, a member at large on the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology Board of Directors, have been invited to serve as panelists.
