AMA-WPC meeting to feature session on negotiation and the gender divide
Discuss the challenges and opportunities facing physicians seeking to demonstrate their value during a presentation at 11 a.m. on June 16 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago during the AMA Women Physicians Congress (WPC) annual meeting.
Sara Laschever, co-author of the book "Women Don't Ask: Negotiation and the Gender Divide," will present "Negotiation and the gender divide: The power to get what you really want." The session is a follow-up to an education program about physician pay disparities and strategies for eliminating them that took place in November during the Interim Meeting of the AMA House of Delegates.
The AMA-WPC meeting will take place at the Hyatt Regency Chicago in conjunction with the Annual Meeting of the AMA House of Delegates.
