Say thank you to someone whos made a difference

Acknowledge the people who have made a difference in your professional life by nominating them for the AMA Women Physicians Congress (WPC) Physician Mentor Recognition Program. The program is a unique way to recognize a professional colleague or teacher who has filled a special role in your life or career.

Nominations are due July 31; download a form today. In submitting a nomination, your mentor will be issued a special certificate and recognized in November during the Interim Meeting of the AMA House of Delegates.

AMA-WPC Governing Council Chair recaps recent AMA-WPC events

A message from AMA-WPC Governing Council Chair Claudia Reardon, MD, highlights the group's recent activity during this year's Annual Meeting of the AMA House of Delegates. In her message, Dr. Reardon describes the AMA-WPC's policy work along with its popular caucus/reception and educational session event entitled "Negotiation and the Gender Divide: The Power to Get What you Really Want."
