AMA membersExisting Members-Only accounts If you have already logged in to Members-Only content, there is no need to log in again. Otherwise, you may log on at the American Medical News home page. Need to set up Members-Only account You can do that at www.ama-assn.org/go/members-only - or from the login screen at amednews.com. Federation executives/staff Create an account at Federation registration or log in using your existing account. Questions or problems setting up account You can email mosupport@ama-assn.org or call the Unified Service Center at 800-262-3211. Forgot my account info If you try to log on, there will be a link to help you. Right under the "Login" button, it should say "Don't have an account yet? Forgot your password? Need help?" The link immediately below will allow you to reset your password. Prefer to logon as a paid subscriber If you are an AMA member, that will also work. Otherwise see below. Retired members All retired members, including those who are dues-exempt, can have full access to amednews.com (and other Member-Only content) using a Members-Only login. Can the site remember my password? Yes. If you check the box (it looks like the one right below), you will only need to log in again if you're at a different computer, or if you delete your cookies.
SubscribersExisting accounts, AMA members Members who have also purchased a subscription to American Medical News or one of the journals, and who have set up an online account, can use their subscriber login. New accounts, AMA members Your new login should give you immediate access to American Medical News online. The same is true if you change your username or password. Subscriber accounts, nonmembers You will need to contact the AMA Unified Service Center at 800-621-8335 to obtain a temporary username and password. We apologize for the inconvenience. Using temporary login The temporary login is only good at amednews.com. You cannot use it to access content JAMA or any of the Archives journals. Controlled circulation Primary care doctors in active practice who receive the print edition of American Medical News at no charge, but who are not AMA members, are not eligible for extended access.
