For the second year, primary care physicians have topped employers' want lists.
Demand for most physician specialties remains strong, but with fewer medical graduates selecting primary care, employers find these positions challenging to fill. A review of 3,016 health care job searches conducted by physician recruiter Merritt, Hawkins & Associates between April 1, 2006, and March 31, 2007, identified the top 10 in-demand specialties.
