U.S., international and osteopathic graduates fill 99.6% of the 103,106 graduate medical residency positions.

U.S. graduates occupy 66.5% of those positions, and while their raw number is increasing, their percentage of the total has been decreasing slowly. The number of graduates from osteopathic and international medical schools filling slots is increasing at a faster rate and occupying a somewhat larger percentage of the total.
