RelayHealth raises $10 million
RelayHealth raises $10 million
RelayHealth Corp. said it has secured $10 million in venture capital, boosting the total funds it has raised since its inception in 1999 to $57 million. The company, which sells secure messaging systems primarily to managed care companies interested in reimbursing for online consultations, will use the money to expand operations, and sales and marketing. During the past 18 months, RelayHealth, Emeryville, Calif., has signed contracts with six insurers, up from one, said Eric Zimmerman, the firm's senior vice president of marketing.
