Four physician brothers join to develop a variety of extra partnerships.

Specialties: Cardiology (Ronald), general and thoracic surgery (Dennis), plastic surgery (Christopher), orthopedic surgery (Jeremy).

Location: Denver.

Businesses: Global Pacific Properties Inc., a real estate operating company that owns, develops and manages commercial properties. A second business, Holiday Creations Inc., makes seasonal products such as holiday lights and ornaments. A third business, Four Brothers Entertainment, owns The Centre in Vancouver for Performing Arts, a theater.

Revenues: Global Pacific has a net worth of more than $100 million. Dr. Ronald Law declined to provide exact figures about Holiday Creations, saying only that it has annual revenues of "many millions of dollars."

Why Dr. Ronald Law and his brothers started the businesses: "Denver had a terribly bad real estate market in the '80s, so bad that you can't really imagine it at the present time. We were able to purchase properties at a quarter of the replacement value. It was really an opportunity made available because of the real estate market," he said.
