Who We Are
WorldScopes is a global, philanthropic initiative of the AMA Foundation that works with leading humanitarian organizations to collect and distribute stethoscopes to health care professionals around the world who lack access to this basic medical instrument.
We have sent thousands of new and gently used stethoscopes to clinics and hospitals around the world, from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe. Yet, for every community we have helped, many others are still in need. That’s where you come in.
