Resources for Patients

For many, a driver's license symbolizes independence. The decision to retire from driving can have both practical and emotional implications on one's life. Physicians can assist their patients in the transition to a life without driving by providing information on local services to patients and their caregivers.

The AMA has created the following materials for physicians to help facilitate discussion with patients and caregivers on driving safety.
