Upon completion of this module, participants will be able to:
- Recognize the importance of addressing tobacco dependence in patients with a mental illness or substance use disorder
- Describe the 5 A's and 2 A's and an R -- actionable strategies for medical professionals to address tobacco dependence
- Describe the five keys to cessation for the patient

The American Medical Association designates this enduring material for a maximum of .5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
