This online module is available for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. This online activity consists of a fifteen minute webinar on the Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans. It provides information on the physical activity guidelines and to assist physicians and other clinicians in facilitating counseling their patients on increasing their physical activity levels. This activity is a part of AMA's Educating Physicians on Controversies and Challenges in Health (EPoCH) program.

Upon completion of this module, participants will be able to:
- Summarize the recommended guidelines for children and adults
- Review the positive health effects associated with increasing physical activity levels and
- Develop a strategy to counsel patients about physical activity
The American Medical Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The American Medical Association designates this enduring material for a maximum of 0.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

In order to receive AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ or a certificate of participation, participants must complete the evaluation, post-test and credit form. Participants must score a 70 percent on the post-test to receive their certificate via e-mail.
