Ending Disparities e-Letter
Thank you for your interest in the Ending Disparities e-letter. The AMA has retired this e-letter. However, we will continue to address healthcare disparities through our participation in the Commission to End Health Care Disparities, and through our Improving Health Outcomes (IHO) initiative. Please select the IHO link to learn about the AMA’s long-term commitment to prevent cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes and to improve outcomes for those with disease. We seek to prevent disease and improve outcomes for all.
Those interested in disparities news and information may want to visit MedlinePlus, a service of the U.S. National Library of Medicine, National Institutes of Health. MedlinePlus offers a free email subscription service that allows the reader to choose to receive updates on specific interest areas, such as disparities.
Physicians may also find of interest the Minority Affairs Section (MAS) of the AMA. The MAS provides a national forum for advocacy on minority health issues and professional concerns of minority physicians and medical students.
