The AMA has compiled pertinent information regarding pending legal actions involving health insurers.

AMA lawsuits challenging UCR practices

Following the successful settlement of AMA’s lawsuit against United HealthCare challenging its Ingenix’ subsidiary’s Usual Customary and Reasonable Charge (UCR) database, the AMA filed lawsuits seeking similar relief against the other national health insurers that had used that database.
