The AMA-convened Physician Consortium for Performance Improvement® (PCPI®) posts measure sets and guidance documents for review and comment during the 30-day public comment period. The PCPI solicits feedback from PCPI members, quality improvement collaboratives, providers, consumers, public/private purchasers and others with an interest in the measure set.
The PCPI work group reviews comments received, revises and modifies the draft performance measures as deemed appropriate by the work group. The public comments and responses are posted to the PCPI website as part of the voting process.

Draft Non-Cardiac Diagnostic Imaging
The PCPI is soliciting public comments on draft measures for Non-cardiac Diagnostic Imaging. The measures were developed by the PCPI in collaboration with the American College of Radiology.
The proposed measures focus on the safety and appropriate use of non-cardiac diagnostic imaging.
The 30-day comment period begins on Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014 and will close at 5 p.m. Central time on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014. Please feel free to forward this document to others within your organization or constituency who may offer insight and expertise. All comments are welcome and will be compiled and shared with the work group for consideration.
