Expert Advisory Panel

The Expert Advisory Panel on Ethical Issues in Benefits Design and Coverage Adjudication (now Fair Coverage Decisions) was appointed by the Ethical Force Program's Oversight Body in 1999 and charged with reviewing existing policies and practices for designing health benefit packages and adjudicating coverage decisions.

The Expert Advisory Panel is also making recommendations to the Ethical Force Oversight Body on potential areas of consensus that could improve the fairness of design processes and coverage decisions. Members of the Expert Advisory Panel are not, however, required to endorse any final consensus report from the Ethical Force Program®. Therefore, neither their own, nor their organizations,' endorsement of any specific Ethical Force recommendations should be inferred by an individual's participation as an expert advisor to the Ethical Force Oversight Body.
