Medicare prescription drug coverage physician education tools
As the Medicare Modernization Act's (or "MMA") prescription drug benefit for Medicare beneficiaries sets to begin on Jan. 1, 2006, patients are turning to physicians for guidance. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) is launching an extensive physician education campaign to help physicians help their patients understand and enroll in the benefit program.
