AMA Expresses Sympathy to People in New Zealand After Earthquake

“On behalf of the physicians of the American Medical Association (AMA), I would like to express our deepest sympathy to the people in New Zealand suffering from the effects of Tuesday’s earthquake. As physicians, we understand the tremendous burden this disaster places on the medical and public health community in Christchurch. During this heartbreaking and challenging time, our thoughts and prayers are with those who have been hurt by the earthquake.”
