2008 Outreach Program overview

Participate in our Membership Outreach Program by talking with colleagues, addressing groups of physicians, answering their questions and encouraging them to join you in the AMA.

2008 goals
Our goal for 2008 is to add 3,600 new AMA members through the Outreach Recruiter Program. That's an average of just 10 new members per recruiter! To support you, we'll supply you with a recruitment kit full of fact sheets, posters, e-mails, ads, articles and more.

Earn points and awards
Each member you recruit translates into points. In September 2008, your points will be totaled. At the November 2008 Interim Meeting (in Florida), awards will be distributed based on your point level.
