Health care fraud and abuse

News stories abound about federal government fraud enforcement activities against hospitals, clinical laboratories, durable medical equipment suppliers, hospices, and home health agencies. Therefore, physicians and others involved in providing patient care need to know how to comply with the federal laws to guard against potential liability in fraud enforcement actions.
