
Mark your calendars to attend the 19th Annual Conference of the National Task Force on CME Provider/Industry Collaboration, "Certified CME for Better Patient Care: Navigating the Regulatory Environment", to be held Oct. 21-23 in Baltimore! This conference will provide the opportunity to network and participate in dynamic sessions with leading industry experts. Interactive plenary and breakout sessions will be offered, including sessions specifically geared towards collaboration among CME providers, the regulated industry, and accrediting agencies; government updates related to the FDA and HHS, and a hot topics sessions.
Featured speakers include Barbara Barnes, MD, MS, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and Norman B. Kahn, Jr., MD, Council of Medical Specialty Societies. A full schedule of events, with faculty, will be available soon.

Group discounts:
Register three participants from the same organization at the full registration rate, and receive a $150 discount on each additional registrant. All registration must be made at the same time by faxing in the registration form. Group discount registrations cannot be made online.
Cancellation policy:
Cancellations by Sept. 26, 2008 are entitled to a full refund less $50 processing charge. Cancellation requests must be made in writing, and can be submitted to cmetaskforce@ama-assn.org. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after Sept. 26, 2008.

Baltimore's Inner Harbor is just 10 miles north of Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI), 45 miles northeast of Washington Ronald Reagan Airport (DCA), and 60 miles northeast of Washington/Dulles International Airport (IAD). Baltimore is also easily accessible by Amtrak and MARC trains.

This year's conference and exhibits will be held Oct. 21-23, 2008 at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront. Each 10'x10' booth includes (1) 6' table and (2) chairs, and (2) full-conference complimentary registrations. Exhibit confirmation packets will be sent out in August, including confirmed booth numbers, floor plans and order forms.
