This document was developed in part through a HRSA Maternal and Child Health Bureau cooperative agreement, Partners in Program Planning for Adolescent Health (PIPPAH). This policy guide represents an effort by the American Collage of Preventive Medicine - American Medical Association National Coalition for Adolescent Health to bring together policies, position statements, and advocacy activities that address alcohol use and adolescents.

Through a HRSA Maternal and Child Health Bureau cooperative agreement, Partners in Program Planning for Adolescent Health (PIPPAH) the AMA convenes meetings of its AMA Educational Forum on Adolescent Health. The November 14, 2002 and May 16, 2003 forums featured speakers on the topic of adolescent obesity, nutrition, and physical activity. Delivering Culturally Effective Care to Adolescents
This AMA publication provides an overview of communication strategies for interacting with young people and their families. Chapter topics include: the elements of culture, adolescent development, determining cultural effectiveness, and special issues. Youth and Violence Medicine, Nursing, and Public Health: Connecting the dots to prevent violence
