She is a certified parliamentarian who helped to shepherd the development of EM and national policy both within her state and specialty medical societies. She has served on numerous reference committees and was speaker of the major EM resident and student organization which grew with her leadership. We proudly recommend Dr. Wiler for Speaker of the AMA-YPS.

Candidate's statement of interest:

I have previously served as both Speaker and Vice Speaker to my specialty society's resident organization, which represented nearly 7,000 members. I presided over council meetings, organized reference committees and was responsible for all work related to the council. During my term, I mentored the development of two resolutions which were adopted as AMA policy at I-07. Presiding in a fair, efficient, and welcoming way I believe is the best way to stimulate member input for both those who are new and experienced with parliamentary process. I am excited about this opportunity and am asking for your support.
