Senior Physician Group Membership

Dear Senior Physician:

I am pleased to make you aware of a recent change in the dues structure for the AMA’s Senior Physicians Group beginning in 2008. In years past, $30 has been collected to support the group’s activities. The AMA has graciously agreed to financially support the Senior Physicians Group, eliminating the $30 annual dues collection. Your Governing Council has been working to achieve this goal and is extremely grateful for the AMA’s generous support.

Our primary communication vehicle to the Senior Physicians Group will be a weekly email called “AMA eVoice” that includes news relevant to senior physicians in addition to general AMA news. If you are not receiving eVoice, please send us an email at spg@ama-assn.org, so we can add your name to the list.

I urge you to continue supporting the AMA and its advocacy work by renewing your AMA membership. Your lifetime of experience and continuous contribution to the medical profession is extremely important and we want you to remain an active member.
