Commission to End Health Care Disparities Doctors Back To School Program Map

The Commission to End Health Care Disparities encourages physicians to assist in increasing the number of minority physicians practicing medicine by visiting schools to serve as role models and encourage children from groups underrepresented in medicine to consider a career in medicine and healthcare.

The 2007-2008 national campaign objective is to reach 100,000 students by sending  physicians and medical students into minority communities to visit students in schools, churches or other community organizations to stimulate interest and encourage them to pursue medical careers.

Please join the Commission in our determination to make a difference and increase diversity in medicine.
