AMA Advocacy and the RBRVS

The AMA has long-standing policy in support of the RUC and its efforts in refining Medicare’s Resource-Based Relative Value Scale (RBRVS). These policies provide for the staff support and facilitation of the RUC as well as a myriad of advocacy efforts to ensure that the RBRVS is properly used by Medicare and other payors.
