National Advocacy Conference

Speak up for your patients.

This April join your colleagues and the American Medical Association in Washington, D.C., to advocate for patients, the medical profession and the future of medicine.

Tell your members of Congress how you feel about issues important to you, including covering the uninsured and Medicare physician payment reform.

  • Hear from political insiders about the changing face of Congress and what the future may hold.
  • Receive professional tips from top experts on effective communication with congressional leaders and the media.
  • Make your voice heard on Capitol Hill.

    2008 National Advocacy Conference
Hundreds of physicians, medical students, and their spouses will gather in the nation's capital Tuesday, April 1st, for the AMA National Advocacy Conference, where they will learn about the political climate surrounding the country's pressing health care issues and prepare to lobby the 110th Congress.

Please register on site at the Grand Hyatt Washington Hotel. The registration area is in the Constitution Foyer.
