Vaccines play critical role in public health

Recognizing the vital role that vaccines have played and continue to play in securing this nation's public health, the American Medical Association joined other leaders in the medical, academic and advocacy community in recognizing National Infant Immunization Week with the release of an "Open Statement on Vaccines."
