Managed care markets
The 2007 update of the AMA study, Competition in Health Insurance: A Comprehensive Study of US Markets is now available. The study shows that many health insurance markets across the country are dominated by one or two health insurers. The AMA is very concerned about the long term impact of this on patients and physicians.
