The Ethics and Health Initiative was launched by the World Health Organization in October 2002 both to provide a focal point for the examination of the ethical issues raised by activities throughout the organization, including the regional offices, and to develop global initiatives on a wide range of bioethics topics.

Ethics and Public Health: Model Curriculum
The Curriculum is a collaborative effort between the Association of Schools of Public Health, the Health Resources and Services Administration, and The Hastings Center. The Curriculum is intended as a resource to enhance and encourage thoughtful, well informed, and critical discussions of ethical issues in the field of public health.
