The MSS holds two national Assembly meetings a year: the Annual (June) and the Interim (December). The MSS has created several meeting guides to help educate attendees about the workings of an MSS meeting so that when you arrive, you will know how to navigate the meeting, how to decide which sessions you want to attend, and how you can participate in the proceedings of our Assembly. We hope you will find these guides useful, and that it will be effective in equipping you to make the most of your meeting.
Guide to MSS Assembly Meetings
The Assembly is the AMA-MSS's principal policymaking body. At its two meetings each year, the Assembly acts on numerous reports and resolutions and establishes policy to guide the MSS and its members. This Guide provides information about the Assembly’s policy development process. It is designed to help new delegates, alternate delegates, and non-voting participants understand and participate in the policy process.
