Registration

Online registration for the 2008 MSS Annual Meeting is now closed. If you have not registered yet, you can do so onsite in the Regency Foyer at the following times: 

• Thursday, June 12 - 3:00 - 8:00 p.m.
• Friday, June 13 - 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
• Saturday, June 14 - 7:00 - 11:00 a.m

Special note for satellite campus Delegates/Alternate Delegates
Per MSS Policy 665.006, satellite campus Delegates/Alternate Delegates must provide proof of satellite campus attendance in order to be credentialed as MSS Assembly representatives. Acceptable forms of identification include a campus-specific identification card or a letter from a medical school dean or other school official certifying that the student does in fact attend the satellite campus in question. Satellite campus representatives will not be credentialed without proof of satellite campus attendance. Please contact the MSS if you have any questions about this policy.

Travel Information

Annual Meeting programming will begin Thursday, June 12, at 5:00 p.m. and will continue through Saturday, June 14, at 2:30 p.m.  Please make your travel arrangements accordingly.

Hotel reservations: The AMA has reserved blocks of rooms for MSS Annual Meeting attendees at two hotels: the Hyatt Regency Chicago (where the MSS meeting will be held) and the Courtyard Marriott Chicago Downtown/River North (10-15 minute walk from the Hyatt). Special room rates will be available until May 12 for the Hyatt and until May 16 for the Courtyard Marriott, or until the group blocks are sold-out, whichever comes first. Rooms are limited and sure to go fast, so please make your reservation as soon as possible.

Airfare discount: The AMA has teamed up with United Airlines to offer MSS Annual Meeting Attendees a special airfare discount of 5%. Book your reservation today!

Meeting Deadlines

Chapter of the Year Award
The 2008 Chapter of the Year Award will be presented at A-08.  Applications are due May 12.

Governing Council applications
At A-08, the MSS Assembly will elect the 2008-2009 MSS Governing Council (GC).  The GC application deadline is May 18 .
