MSS Governing Council

e-mail story | print story

The elected Governing Council (GC) acts as the "board" for the MSS in that they direct the programs and activities of the Section on a national level. The GC consists of eight members from medical schools nationwide who serve a one-year term, including: Chair, Vice Chair, Delegate, Alternate Delegate, At-Large Officer, Speaker, Vice Speaker, and Chair-Elect/Immediate Past-Chair (each serving 6 months).

Reports and Tracking Grid

The Chair of the GC writes a monthly Chair's Column, summarizing the GC's activities—read the latest issue or browse through previous issues. For more detailed information about the GC's actions related to a specific resolution or report, you can review the GC Tracking Grid (Word, 179KB).
