Currently, I am a third-year medical school at Tufts University in Boston, and my career interests include gynecologic oncology and women's health. I am from New Jersey and received a B.S. in Biology from The College of New Jersey. I have been an active member of the AMA since my first year of medical school and served on HCC twice before it became a standing committee. As Chair, I'm looking forward to extending HCC from a convention committee to a standing committee. Aside from assisting our student delegates to the HOD, I'm hoping to work with the MSS on resolution development and testimony writing. In my spare time, I love running, traveling, the beach, and spending time with my friends and family.

I'm a second-year student at the University of Colorado and have particular interest in rural primary care, although surgery holds a special place in my heart, too. We'll see. I'm from Montana and would like to return when finished with everything (c. 2016?). I served on HCC last year and found it to be extremely interactive, and, of the committees, I feel like it's really the place where the MSS puts the iron in the fire, so to speak. We get things done. In my "free time," I'm actively involved with both the Colorado Medical Society and the Family Medicine interest group and have been working to increase student involvement in the 208 commission, which is a state legislature-sponsored commission to study and facilitate implementation of comprehensive health care reform in Colorado. I also like mountain running (Denver, oddly, is too far away for me to do that most of the time), biking, ultimate frisbee, tele/nordic skiing, and pretty much anything that involves the outdoors.

I am Chip, but my nametag may say George R. Wandling, Jr. I am a third-year at University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, and I have been involved with the AMA-MSS during my entire med school career. I was on the HCC at A-07, and I enjoy the dynamics of working for this committee since we are the buffer between the MSS and the physicians. We have voted as a group to present our ideas to the HOD, and we need our resolutions to come across as well-prepared, logical, and as beneficial as possible. When I'm not on the wards, I enjoy travelling, storytelling, and spending time with friends and family laughing the day away.

I am a second-year medical student at Baylor College of Medicine, in Houston. I have an interest in primary care and the development and management of health care delivery systems. I was born in NYC, but grew up in Berkeley, Cal. I received my undergraduate B.A. from Yale University in 2006 and am in the Baylor/Rice joint MD/MBA program. I first became interested in the business of medicine after an internship at Humana, Inc, my junior summer, and I hope to eventually work in a joint clinical and administrative position. I have been an active member of the TMA and AMA since beginning medical school, and in my spare time I enjoy salsa dancing, cooking, and going to the Houston Grand Opera.

I am a second-year medical student at Boston University. I attended University of Redlands for my undergraduate, then Boston University for graduate degrees in exercise science and nutrition. My interests in medicine vary more than Britney's sanity. And you can guess that my interests apart from medicine revolve around working out, eating granola, and being outside.
