A-07 Senior Physicians Caucus

e-mail story | print story

The Senior Physician Governing Council invited members 55 and older, retired or nearing retirement to attend its first Senior Physicians Caucus at the Annual 2007 Meeting for an interactive discussion.

The meeting was led by the SPG Vice-Chair, William Jacott, MD, as well as Harrison Rogers, MD, Governing Council Member.

Agenda items included reviewing issues and problems pertinent to seniors at the Annual Meeting, and providing answers to questions from the group.

Issues ranged from discussing part time insurance coverage, that would be acceptable in terms of price to all Seniors, to involving Seniors in teaching opportunities currently available.

The Senior Physicians Governing Council is committed to building a stronger Senior Physicians Group for the AMA and its senior members.
