Short term teams established by the Summit at the June 2006 meeting
The Summit agreed at its June 22nd meeting to create six teams with the aggressive timeline of creating strategies/messages for the upcoming influenza season to enhance utilization of influenza vaccine. Teams are asked to think creatively to derive plans for the short-term goal of increasing utilization for this upcoming season. While long-term goals are also necessary and there will be some overlap between this current effort and future long-term planning efforts, the tight deadline compelled the teams to focus on the short-term goal.
