The American Medical Association's political representation and grassroots advocacy activities are based in Washington, D.C. In the center of the Washington business district, with easy access to Congress and the Executive Agencies, the D.C. office is home to almost 100 employees. Working for one of the most respected and effective lobbying and political action organizations in the United States, Washington staff influence key legislative decision makers in ways that directly impact the quality, availability and cost of health care.
