The 2007 Annual Research Poster Symposium was held at the AMA-RFS Interim Assembly Meeting in Honolulu, Hawaii jointly with the AMA Medical Student Section in association with Pfizer Medical Humanities Initiative, Inc. The symposium featured a panel discussion on "Careers in Medical Research" with panelists Joseph Konen, MD, Peter W. Carmel, MD, and Willie Underwood, MD.

3rd Annual Research Poster Symposium
The 2006 AMA-RFS Research Poster Symposium was held in Las Vegas, NV during the Interim Meeting. The event was held jointly with the AMA Medical Student Section in association with Pfizer, Inc. which served as a leadership development as well as a mentorship opportunity for participants.
Prizes are awarded to the top winners in the four categories: Basic Science Research, Clinical Medical Research, Public Health/Health Policy/Medical Education, and Clinical Vignettes. The overall grand prize winner wins a plaque and a trip to the 2007 AMA-RFS Annual Meeting.
