Covering Kids & Families

We are pleased to announce the MSS is an official participant in this year's Covering Kids & Families Back-to-School Campaign to help connect eligible families with low-cost and free health care coverage. We hope to help reach out to an unprecedented number of families and get them enrolled. The official launch date of this year’s event is Wednesday, August 9, 2006.

If you are interested in planning or participating in Covering Kids & Families Back-to-School Campaign activities, campaign contacts can connect you to local activities and provide tips on how to become involved. Materials, such as planning kits, promotional materials, and much more, are available free of charge on their Web site. These materials have proven effective for engaging families, organizations, and the media.

If you are planning a Covering Kids & Families event, please take a few minutes to let us know by sending a short e-mail summarizing what you have planned to the MSS Policy Analyst. Your event may also be eligible for funding through the MSS Chapter Involvement Grant program.
