Registration: The pre-registration deadline is May 8. You must register by this deadline to be included in the meeting roster published in the handbook. Register online.

Delegates: Delegates and alternate delegates need to be credentialed by their state or specialty society. State and specialty societies can fill out the certification form (Word, 96KB) to confirm official delegates and email to rfs@ama-assn.org.

Airline Reservations: The American Medical Association is pleased to announce a special discount agreement with United Airlines not available to the general public.

To book your reservations on-line and receive a 5% discount, simply go to www.united.com. Once you have linked to United.com:

• Enter your origin and destination and travel dates
• Click on upgrades, promotions, class, nonstops
• Enter 500CQ (use capital letters) in the promotion code box

Available flights will be displayed. When you select an available flight your discounted fare will automatically be calculated.

Resolutions: The deadline for resolutions is May 1. Please submit resolutions to rfs@ama-assn.org. We require that you research whether relevant AMA and AMA-RFS policy currently exists for your resolutions and list these policies following the text of your resolution. You can download AMA PolicyFinder and detailed information on How to write a resolution. For assistance with AMA policy or other aspects of your resolution, contact the AMA-RFS at (312) 464-4277.

Convention Committees: Apply to serve on the Annual Meeting convention committees. Please submit your online application by May 1.

Meeting Agenda: Tentative agenda (PDF, 24KB).

Elections: The RFS Assembly will elect the 2008-2009 Governing Council at the 2008 Annual Meeting. Available Positions are Vice-Chair, Speaker, Vice Speaker, Delegate, Alternate Delegate, and Membership & Outreach Officer. The GC officer application (Word, 70KB) is now available. The deadline for submissions is May 15 to be included in the Assembly Handbook.
