I am from Carmel, Ind., and went to Wabash College as an undergrad. I began in the AMA as a first year in medical school when I was a representative for the Terre Haute center from Indiana University. I served for two years in that position. As a third year, I was elected State Chair of Indiana's AMA-MSS. After my year term I was elected Region 5 Chair at A-07. My future plans include residency in Orthopaedic Surgery. My activities outside of medical school include competitive triathloning and competitive running.
