Enjoy discounts up to 40 percent with new long-term care program

A new long-term care program for physicians, their families and practices is designed to provide an array of resources and funding options to address your long-term care needs. The new program provides a variety of benefit options, including:

  • Discounts as high as 40 percent
  • Flexible payment and funding options designed to benefit you and your heirs
  • Rate guarantees
  • A return of premium feature if funds aren't used
  • Options that allow you to share benefits
  • Tax-advantaged options for your practice
  • A no-cost long-term care assessment from an experienced financial professional

The program is offered through Millennium Brokerage Group, LLC, and other financial professionals approved to participate in AMA Insurance Agency's Physicians Financial Partners program. Through this program, you have access to qualified financial professionals to discuss all the options associated with long-term care planning and to help determine what might be right for you, your family and your practice.

Early retirees struggle with gap in health coverage

No matter what your retirement age is, you may start receiving social security benefits as early as age 62. Seniors, however, will need to wait until age 65 to be eligible for Medicare. Finding a way to bridge the gap, from being eligible for Social Security but not for Medicare, might be the hardest and costliest challenge for those who want to retire early.

Retirees can no longer count on their employers to provide health insurance until they became eligible for Medicare. Those without company-provided health insurance typically find individual policies prohibitively expensive, with premiums topping over $1,000 a month for family coverage.
