ARC Meetings

Each year, the Advocacy Resource Center (ARC) hosts two association-wide conferences to provide opportunities for coordinating campaign development and strategies, and networking among medical association leaders.

State Advocacy Roundtable Conference

August 2-4
Hyatt Chicago Magnificent Mile
Chicago, IL

Held each summer in August, this meeting allows state and specialty society lobbyists, general counsel and policy staff to exchange information and strategies on critical state health care issues, and participate in an informal format that supports open dialogue and idea-sharing. This conference also encourages networking among fellow medical association staff.

State Legislative Strategy Conference

Hosted by the American Medical Association (AMA), the State Legislative Strategy Conference is the only meeting in which in the AMA, the American Osteopathic Association and the majority of the state and national medical specialty societies come together to work on the toughest state level issues in health care today.

Don't miss the opportunity to meet colleagues from across the country, share ideas, talk with experts, learn from nationally renowned speakers, discover policy solutions, and develp state legislative agendas that empower physicians to better serve their patients and promote the highest quality in patient care.
