AMA-SPS Governing Council elections take place April 29 – May 6

(ending at 11:59 p.m. Central time)

If you’re a member of the American Medical Association and you are 65 years of age or older, don’t miss your chance to vote in the AMA Senior Physicians Section (SPS) runoff governing council election, which takes place April 29 – May 6 (ending at 11:59 p.m. Central Time). If you have not received a ballot, please contact at sps@ama-assn.org and one will be sent to you.

Thank you to all who participated in the recent American Medical Association Senior Physicians Section (SPS) Governing Council elections. Congratulations to Barbara S. Schneidman, MD, MPH, who has been elected to the first officer-at-large position (two-year term).

Your vote is needed again now! At this time, a majority vote has not been reached for the second officer at-large position. Thus, the names of the two candidates who received the most votes have been placed on a new ballot for an electronic runoff election.

The final election results will be announced on May 13 via email to AMA-SPS members. Thank you for your participation!

If you have questions about the election, contact the AMA-SPS via email or at (312) 464-5523.
