  • New! The AMA's Senior Physicians Section is seeking nominations for two seats on its Governing Council. Nominations must be received by Friday, February 27, 2015.
  • New! Read highlights from this year's AMA Senior Physicians Section (SPS) Interim Assembly Meeting, which took place November 8 in Dallas, Texas.
  • Nominations are now being accepted for the Jack B. McConnell, MD Award, which recognizes the work of senior physicians who provide treatment to U.S. patients who lack access to health care. Any AMA physician 65 years of age or older is an automatic member of the Senior Physicians Section (SPS). The AMA-SPS is the largest senior physician group in the United States.
