I-09 Senior Physicians Group Liaison Meeting

Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Hilton Americas, Houston, Texas
Room: 343A

The Senior Physicians Governing Council is committed to building a stronger Senior Physicians Group for the AMA and its members.  The group has progressed and is seeking representation from each state on senior-oriented programs that can be presented for discussion at both the Annual and Interim Meetings.  These meetings are attended by an increasing number of senior physicians from the HOD, a third of whom are members of the AMA Senior Physicians Group.  "Representation can enhance the effectiveness of our group, and promote sharing of concerns with other delegates," Dr. John Knote, Chair of the Senior Physicians Group says, "Our liaison meetings are lively and informative.  We look forward to meeting with the group again and encouraging those States that haven't sent a representative to do so. Your feedback is needed as we all approach the many opportunities and issues involving senior physicians."

The next meeting is scheduled for Friday, November 6, at the Hilton Americas Hotel in Houston, Texas.  Please contact Alice Reed, alice.reed@ama-assn.org to provide your suggestions or to confirm your state liaison to the meeting.
