I-12 Summary of Actions

The 2012 AMA-RFS Interim Meeting will take place from November 8-10, 2012, in Honolulu, Hawaii. Meeting events will primarily be held at the Hawaii Convention Center, but several other events will take place at the main meeting hotel, the Hilton Hawaiian Village.

Online registration for the Interim Meeting is now closed. On-site registration will be available at the meeting site.

The Interim Meeting Handbook is now available! This handbook is your guide to the AMA-RFS Interim Assembly Meeting, and contains the meeting agenda, the items of business that will be discussed, and information on candidates for the positions that will be elected at the meeting. Make sure you read it through before you get to Honolulu!

The AMA is excited to announce its newest resource for resident and fellow physicians, the Resident and Fellow Quality Improvement Forum and Database. The webpage allows residents and fellows to share ideas about QI initiatives, and contains learning modules and resources to help you get started with your QI project. Now we need your help to begin populating the database with your QI project ideas, so visit the Forum and submit your projects now!

If you would like to have a letter from the RFS Governing Council Chair sent to your Program Director to thank them for giving you the opportunity to attend the meeting, fill out the request form here. Letters will be emailed to the Program Directors within one month of the meeting.
