Report of the Resident and Fellow Section Reference Committee
End of life (EOL) care is support for people who are approaching death and includes palliative care and hospice care. This resource provides residents and fellows with the tools to understand EOL care, including defining EOL care, understanding and defining Advance Directives, and guidance on how to have an EOL discussion with your patient. Additionally, resources for state-specific EOL policy, legislation issues and patient resources for EOL care is provided here.
