AMA-MSS Resolutions
I-09 Resolution Deadlines
Failure to meet any of the below resolution deadlines will result in your resolution being labeled "late." Late resolutions require a 2/3 vote of the MSS Assembly for consideration. In general, a late resolution is considered by the Assembly only if:
- The resolution addresses an urgent issue, AND
- The issue addressed by the resolution arose or significantly developed after the resolution submission deadline.
Sept. 11, 2009
- Deadline to post resolution draft to the MSS Health Policy and News listserv.
Sept. 25, 2009:
- Deadline to complete all tasks and submit the MSS Resolution Checklist (online form).
- Deadline to submit final draft of resolution to mss@ama-assn.org.
- Deadline to submit background documents for inclusion in MSS Reference Committee background book (optional but highly recommended).
